ARKHAM HORROR LCG CORE REVISED

In the sleepy town of Arkham, Massachusetts, a small band of intrepid investigators seeks to uncover the nature of a sinister menace that threatens humanity. But beware! The arcane realm hold countless terrors, and the investigators must take care to maintain a tenuous grip upon their very sanity, and survive.

Arkham Horror LCGis a 1-4 player cooperative game in which each player assumes the role of an investigator and attempts to solve terrifying eldritch mysteries. Each game is a chapter in a longer campaign, in which decisions carry far-reaching and unexpected consequences. As a Living Card Game, new cards and adventures are released regularly, allowing players to customize the contents of this core set, or to create their own original decks.

With a revamped system of organization and a number of quality-of-life improvements, this new version of the beloved LCG’s core set is the perfect way for someone to dive into the game. The box comes with everything you need to get your Arkham campaigns started, including enough cards and components for up to three other players to join you in your quest against the Mythos.

To be honest, nothing about the game itself has changed. This is still the sameArkham Horror LCGthat many have come to know and love over the past five years, and none of the cards included in theRevised Core Setare new to the game. The rules are the same, the campaign is the same, and the experience is the same. Even the cards are mostly the same, with the only difference being the inclusion of a handful of higher-level cards from some of the game’s earlier expansions to give newer players more options when spending experience. But even then, these cards already exist as part of the game, which means if you already have all the existingArkham Horror LCGproducts, then there will not be anything in theRevised Core Setthat you need for yourself.

However, this is the perfect opportunity to introduce a friend or family member to the game. TheRevised Core Setcomes with everything a newcomer needs to get theirArkham Horror LCGcollection started, including a full playset of cards and components to support up to four players for the initial campaign.
