Two children are kidnapped from a sleepy town. Their parents make a plea to the local shrine kami to bring them home, and the skulk of kitsune that live on the shrine grounds hear their prayer. They discover an abandoned house in the woods that houses a great evil that may be responsible for the children’s disappearance. Can they stop the evil from spreading and bring them home?
‘Kuromori Hill’ is a Fox Magic one-shot adventure. Fox Magic is a narrative game system which handles conflicts and challenges with a simple die roll, and has more emphasis on the storytelling and player interaction than on combat. This adventure module has all the rules and sample characters needed to run without the core book, should one so choose.
